The Bushtrackers’ existing system comprised of three 120Ah AGM batteries, three 130W Solar Panels, a Xantrax 1800W Inverter and a Lithium compatible Enderdrive 60A Battery Charger.
After removing the old AGM batteries and an existing solar controller, we installed:
- A 300Ah RV Lithium Systems Battery Pack
- An additional 150W Solar panel
- A 40A Redarc BCDC 1240D Vehicle and Solar Controller
- A Victron 220A Battery Disconnect Unit
- A Victron BMV712 Smart Battery Monitor with built in Bluetooth connectivity
- An external Solar Anderson Plug connector for Alan’s portable 120W panel
- Another external Anderson Plug Output for Alan to run any other accessories at his leisure
- And we replaced the old solar controller panel with a neat custom made plate to house the battery meter and main battery switch.
